WALL CLIMBING TOKYO 2020

Sport climbing is one of the new sports welcomed at the Olympics with the arrival of the Tokyo event.
This discipline today takes place on artificial structures specially built and prepared for this practice or on natural walls.
The International Olympic Games Sport Climbing Federation has commissioned us to create four dioramas with the
scale reproduction of the wall that was used in Tokyo for the finals.
The work required a collection of images of the Olympic wall on which the 3D construction project was then made.
It was later made with a 6K high definition resin printer.
The base is in oak wood and the diorama is protected by a plexiglass case.

The work was not easy because the entire wall was built making sure that all the parts corresponded
to the real one, in addition, the hours of printing and drying of each piece required cycles of 24 hours of machine work.
We learned that the dioramas were destined for New York, Tokyo and the Italian CIO offices.
We are very happy to have contributed to this project.
